MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced through his worldwide reach. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment as both his mother & older brother are professional musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory element of his existence. In his childhood he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. His initial choice of career was to become a vet however, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he realized his ability to sing and also transformed his career path.
